    Location: Niagara College, Niagara-on-the-Lake campus and the Grimo Nut Nursery
    Some meeting highlights are: a presentation of innovations to make nut farming easier and more precise, a demonstration of a new prototype for cracking heartnuts, and grower reports. A hamburger lunch at Grimo Nut Nursery is included.
    The cost of $15 per person can be paid at the door.

  • Fall Fruits: A Workshop and A Tasting

    Learn how to grow delicious fruits naturally--pears, grapes, kiwi berries, pawpaws, persimmons, and more with garden author & farmdener Lee Reich, PhD at his garden/farmden.
    This workshop will cover fall-rripening, low maintenance, tasty fruits, good for organic, pesticide-free growing in backyards and small farms.
